Bruce A. Griner Jr.

 

Bruce A. Griner Jr.(aka BJ) is a native of Pier Station, Fl, a small town about 30 mins outside of Jacksonville. A town not known for very much but singing, music, hard-work, farming, and family, Bruce learned how to sing through the leadership of his two God-fearing grandmothers. Pioneers of the community, these two women help mold BJ to understand the true value of singing unto The Lord through example. Singing since the age of about 8, BJ realized he had an early call on his life to minister in song through continuous encouragement and witnessing. Coming from a long line of singers, BJ sung with a different variety of groups and choirs which allowed him a broader understanding of how to reach God's people through various angles of music. During his career, he was also blessed with the opportunity to opened up for such gospel artist as CeeCee Winans, Jessica Reedy, Beverly Crawford, and Juanita Bynum. Married for over 13 years to his beautiful wife Vashti Griner and 2 beautiful kids, Bruce III and Jaida Gabrielle, BJ expanded his ministry throughout various other cities such as Jacksonville, Green Cove Springs, Orlando, Warner Robins and Atlanta, Ga. He also received a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology and MBA in Business, where he worked as an Electrical Engineer for over 12 years and currently employed as the Operational Director of the Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center.
